Appointments to State Boards and Enterprise is by public solicitition. Any member of the public may apply as a candidate provided the following conditions are met;

• Up to University Level Education with 15 years proven management service
• Must not have been former MP or political appointee of previous governments (with certain exceptions)
• Must have untarnished police record
• Must not have been implicated in any form of corruption
• Willing to undergo a background investigation
